Another interactive marketing device is the CD ROM. Unless you live in a cave, you have probably received many of these from AOL. Place the CD in your computer and it provides you with information about the product and a link to their website. The AOL disc also has software that allows you to use their service.

Other companies have used CDs to send slideshows and music presentations of their product to prospects. An innovative company created business cards with contact information printed on the front and a playable CD on the other side. I like the idea of these cards, but they are costly to produce and should only be used with targeted customers that can benefit from the information. In most cases, it makes more sense to invest in a quality website and put your web address on your paper business card.
