You can tell I am not a lawyer, but I believe in practice contracts are worthless:
• If you work with someone honest you don't need a contract
• If you work with someone dishonest, they will use weasel words in the fine print that excuses them from responsibility down the line, so the contract is worthless
The bottom line is to work with honest people and go light on the paperwork.
