• Win-Lose: I win, you lose
• Lose-Win: I let you win
• Lose-Lose: Nobody gets their way
• Win-Win: We both win
Lose-Lose is no good for anyone, but the first two end up being Lose-Lose eventually anyway. So if you are working with someone it needs to be a Win-Win or no deal.
