Summary:
On November 6, 2007 a letter was sent from Senator Chuck Grassley’s office requesting that the leadership of Joyce Meyer Ministries provide detailed records and personal information pertaining to Joyce and Dave Meyer for his review. This was a highly publicized request and cast a doubt upon the integrity of the ministry. In response, we posted a page with links to detailed financial records and an explanation of where donations were used. We also reached out to supporters and asked them to share our message and even embed some of our videos on their sites.
On March 12, 2009, Senator Chuck Grassley praised Joyce Meyer Ministries for joining the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), and for fully cooperating with the senators office.
